Riding on Insulin has cool camps for kids all over the world who have diabetes. In addition to having ski and snowboard camps, they also have BMX camps, expeditions, and offer training for the Ironman triathlon (for athletes of any age, I believe)!

Many people find it useful to use a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) in managing diabetes. However, when a person turns 65 and goes on Medicare, that device is no longer covered by insurance.
Have you ever tried to talk to someone about having diabetes, and they don't seem to understand, or they reply with an "At least..." phrase? "At least you don't have cancer." Or maybe, they say something like, "Well, if anyone had to have diabetes, you'd be the best one to have it" (I've had a couple people say that to me, and honestly, it doesn't make me feel any better). Wish those people could see this video!
