The Tour de Cure

 

This July, my parents and I went to Hillsboro, Oregon to participate in our second Tour de Cure for the American Diabetes Association! We rode 29 miles in nice, sunny weather, a real contrast to last year's pouring down rain! It's really exciting to go to the rides and see all of the people who support all of us with type 1 diabetes and to see how much money is raised for research, awareness, and support for kids in school.

We're planning to go again next year, and it would be wonderful if some other people from Southern Oregon would try it, too! (hint, hint) They also have a 10 mile family ride and a 3 mile walk.
